Roger Lockhart

LOCKHART, ROGER - Following a period of failing health, Roger Lockhart of Lepreau, NB, formerly of Perth-Andover, NB, passed away peacefully at his home on December 12, 2013. Roger was born on April 14, 1947 in Woodstock, NB. He was the son of the late Lawrence and Esma (Gildart) Lockhart. Roger leaves behind his wife Ann Lockhart (McCurdy); his daughter Tina Lockhart of Aroostook; his grandson Tyler Lockhart of Aroostook; a special aunt Vera Nevers of Perth-Andover; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Roger was predeceased by his parents; his brother Larry Lockhart; his granddaughter Lauren. Being a "Tobiquer at heart", Roger enjoyed hunting and fishing at the family camp at the Forks. He was a member of the Perth-Andover Elks Lodge and the Royal Canadian Legion. Roger worked in several occupations such as operating his own heating business, Lockhart's Heating Service and later as a Correctional Officer at local provincial jails.
Resting at Brunswick Funeral Home with visitation on Tuesday 12 to 2 pm. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at 2:30 pm at Brunswick Funeral Home. Rev. Lawrence Pardy officiating. Following the service there will be a reception held at the Funeral Home. For those who wish, memorial donations to the Charlotte County Extra-Mural Program or the Canadian Kidney Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover.
