It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Linda M. (Stewart) Gaudett on Monday, Dec. 16, 2013.
Born in Sydney, Linda was the daughter of the late William and Bertha (Clements) Stewart.
Linda is survived by her daughter, Krista (Mike Correia) and only grandchild, Courtney, Calgary, Alta.; companion, Gordon Brenton, Sydney; sister, Sylvia (Ted) Carroll, Hammonds Plains; brothers, Wayne (Nancy), Halifax, and Blair (Susan), Sydney, and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Edith and brothers, William and Ed.
Linda was employed with the Cape Breton District Health Authority.
Visitation will take place today (Friday, Dec. 27, 2013), at Sydney Memorial Chapel from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in the chapel with Mr. Darius Powell officiating. Interment will take place at a later date.
Donations in memory of Linda may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
