It is with great sadness that our family announces the sudden passing of Larry following a brief illness. Born in Spring Valley, PEI, Larry was one of 9 children of Ada (nee Mulligan) and Robert Glover and is survived by his brother, George (Terry).
Larry was a leader in education both in Montreal and with DPCDSB as well as a lifelong learner.
Beloved husband of the late Elaine (nee Shea). Loving father of Paula and husband George Prajza; Susan and husband George Takahashi; Michael and wife Karen (nee Thomas); Nora and husband Dan La Cute; Richard and wife Nana (nee Rehem). Highly attentive grandfather to his 14 grandchildren, Erika (Dave), Laura (Jackie), Bryan, Julia, Jeff, Daniel, Genevieve, Christian, Giselle, Ryan, Michael, Katie, Colin and Kieran. Ever present and encouraging at hockey games, school events and family gatherings. A man of great faith, Larry will be missed for his love, generosity, commitment, honour and storytelling.

Friends may call at Turner & Porter, Butler Chapel, 4933 Dundas St West, Etobicoke, M9A 1B6 on Sunday from 2-8 p.m. Mass of the Resurrection will be held at Nativity of Our Lord Church, 480 Rathburn Rd, Etobicoke, M9C 3S8, on Monday, December 23, 2013 at 11 a.m. Reception to immediately follow in church hall. Interment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery after reception.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances in Larry's honour can be made to Trillium Health Partners Foundation - Mississauga site or the St. Vincent de Paul Society.
