LÉGÈRE, RÉGINALD - Réginald Légère, 67, of Robichaud Street, Cap-Pelé, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, December 24th, 2013 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont UHC. Born on June 18th, 1946 in Trois-Ruisseaux, he was the son of the late Gervais and Lorraine (Brun) Légère. Reginald was an Iron Worker for many years and upon his retirement he was employed with Suncor Energy. Réginald enjoyed life and had many friends from all over. He adored his grandchildren, spending time at his favorite place, Aboiteau Wharf, was an avid pool player and was the biggest New York Yankees fan. He will be greatly missed by his former wife and close friend, Janice (Forest) Légère of Cap-Pelé; four children: Paul and Marthine Légère (Michel Jacob) all of Cap-Pelé, Marcia Légère (Shane Fleet) of Moncton and Monica Brown (Sean) of Mississauga, ON; five sisters: Françine Donelle (Gérard), Léonette Bourque (Donald), Ginette Léger (Adrice Arsenault) all of Cap Pelé, Janise LeBlanc of Trois-Ruisseaux and Rolande Léger (Claude Thériault) of Edmunston; eight brothers: Guy (Madeleine), Roland (Janice), Raoul (Claudine), Gilles (Jocelyne), Victor, Roussel (Denise) and Michel (Mona) all of Trois-Ruisseaux and Daniel (Jeanne) of Cap Pelé; five grandchildren, Frédéric, Patrick, Kendall, Josh and Melissa; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers: Lorenzo and Lévi.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral Centre, 2642 chemin Acadie, Cap-Pelé (577-3297) on Friday, December 27th, 2013 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, December 28th, 2013 from 10:30 a.m. until time of departure. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Ste-Thérèse d'Avila R.C. Church in Cap-Pelé on Saturday, December 28th, 2013 at 11:30 a.m. In memory of Réginald, a contribution to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New-Brunswick would be appreciated. Cremation and funeral arrangements have been entrusted with Frenette Funeral Center, Cap-Pelé (577-3297).
