BABINEAU, ALINE - Aline Babineau, 89, of Manoire De La Bute, Cap-Pelé, passed away on Wednesday, December 25th, 2013 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born on February 21st, 1924 in St-Thomas-De-Kent, she was the daughter of the late Edmond and Rose-Anna(Cormier) Maillet. Before her retirement, she worked at Cormier LeBlanc fish processing. She is survived by two daughters: Berthe Goguen (Claude) of Saint-André-LeBlanc and Rose Bourque (Marc) of Grand-Barachois; four sons: Gérald (Mary) of Shelburn, ON, Joseph "Joe" (Rita) of Moncton, Roger (Carole) of Haute-Aboujagane and Bernard (Francia) of Bas-Cap-Pelé; five sisters: Rina Goguen (late Omer) and Georgina Maillet both of Cocagne, Fedora Landry (Normand) of Maynard, USA, Dorise Bastarache (late Aurèle) and Florine Allain (George) both of St-Thomas-De-Kent; one brother, Oscar Maillet (Ethel) of St-Antoine; 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Gerald Babineau (1996) and four brothers: Alcide, Normand, Clarence and Laurent.
Visitation will be at the Ste-Thérèse d'Avila R.C. Church, 2648, Acadie ch., Cap-Pelé, lower level on Friday, December 27th, 2013 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. only. The funeral mass will be held on Saturday, December 28th, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. Interment will be in the Parish cemetery.
