Passed peacefully away, with his loving family by his side after a courageous battle with cancer, on Tuesday, December 24, 2013 at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre Palliative Care Unit, at the age of 78. Predeceased by his loving wife Gertrude, and precious grandson Nicholas Dollimont. Leaving to celebrate his life are his 5 children: George and Crystal, Mary Sellars and Gary (with whom he resided), Paula Dollimont and Aiden, John and Yvonne, and Frank; his 9 grandchildren: Adrian, Cynthia, Andrew, Ryan, Erin, Ashley, Abigail, Alyssia and Shayna. Also, he leaves behind his 5 brothers, 4 sisters and their families; his special friend Leone Conner and her family. As per Dad's wishes, cremation has taken place, with a Funeral Mass Celebrated at St. Alphonsus Roman Catholic Church, Peterborough, Ontario. Christian Burial will take in Ottawa in the Military Cemetery at later date.
