GOULD, HECTOR - Hector Gould, 79, of Robinson Street, Moncton, passed away on Wednesday, January 1, 2014 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital following a lengthy illness. Born November 6, 1934 in Moncton, he was the son of the late Ephrem and Alma (Melanson) Gould. He was a former school teacher at Assomption College, and also taught in Richibucto and Bathurst. He later retired from Radio-Canada. He is survived by his three sisters: Stella Cormier and Lucille LeBlanc (late Ulysse), both of Moncton, Jeannette Belliveau (Adrien) of Dieppe; many nieces and nephews. A brother, Romeo, predeceased him.
The family will be receiving relatives and friends at the Frenette Funeral Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton, from where the funeral service will be celebrated on Saturday, January 4 at 11:00 am followed by a reception also at the centre. Visiting hours are Saturday from 10:00 am until time of service. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe.
