CHRISTIE, Muriel Elizabeth, 91, of Barrington passed away on Monday, December 30, 2013. Born May 5, 1922 in Centreville she was the daughter of the late Morton and Felicia (Smith) Atkinson. She is survived by her daughter, Kim (John) Joyce, Barrington; sisters, Susan Sapp, Halifax; Marion Nickerson, Newellton; grandchildren, Andrew, Barrington Passage; and Mark, Halifax. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Harold Christie; brothers, Francis, Ernest, Robert, Peter; and sister, Joyce. There will be no visitation by request. The funeral service was held, Thursday January 2, 2014 from the H. M. Huskilsons’s Memorial Chapel, Barrington. Edward Allen officiating. Interment to follow in the Centreville Cemetery.
