Gerald LeBlanc
LeBLANC, GERALD - Gerald Joseph LeBlanc, husband of the late Jeannette (Hebert) LeBlanc, passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2014 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1939 in St. Ann de Kent, NB he was the son of the late John and Albertine (Mooney) LeBlanc. In addition to his wife and parents he was predeceased by his children Kevin LeBlanc and Rachel LeBlanc; siblings Aline LeBlanc, Edward LeBlanc, Joseph LeBlanc, Paul LeBlanc, Geneva Roy and Alphones LeBlanc. He is survived by his children Gilles LeBlanc (Kathy), Denise Landry (Jackie) and Lisa LeBlanc; step-daughter Suzanne Hebert (Rejean), siblings Therese Allain, Vincent LeBlanc and Bernard LeBlanc; grandchildren Joel, Jessica, Justin, Stephanie and Martin; great grandchildren Isabelle and Colton; several nieces and nephews. Gerald was a family man and was a hard worker, he worked in the paving construction for over 40 years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus # 6770 4th Degree, he had great faith, loved music, playing his guitar and loved spending time with his family.
Following cremation, visitations will be held from Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) on Wednesday, January 8 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Ann’s Catholic Church on Thursday, January 9, 2014 at 11 a.m. A private family interment will take place in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
