Walter Ernest Christmann of Moose Jaw, passed away with family by his side on January 8, 2014 at the age of 88. He is predeceased by his parents, step-mother, granddaughter, three brothers, and one sister. Walter will be sadly missed by his wife of 63 years, Frances; children: Linda (Gerry) Meyer, Larry (Hennie) Christmann, Chris (Donna) Christmann, Gerard Christmann, Marie (Roger) Bastedo, Francine Blahitka (fiancé Darcy); grandchildren: Bonnie, Kristy, Kurtis, Denis, Michael, Jillian, Ryan, Justin, Evan, Tyler, Christopher, and Megan; great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; four sisters, three brothers; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A Memorial Services will be held at St. Joseph’s Church, 1064 Third Ave. N.W., on Monday January 13, 2014 at 1:30 pm. Father Rick Krofchek will officiate. Interment will take place at a later date. An Evening Prayer Service will be held at W.J.Jones & Son Chapel on Sunday January 12, at 7:00 pm.
