GORMLEY, PATRICIA LILLIAN - Patricia passed away peacefully with her family at her side, at the Kiwanis Nursing Home, Sussex, NB on January 11. 2014 at the age of 93. Wife of the late Cecil Gormley; daughter of the late Henry & Cassie Allison of Johnville, NB., daughter Pamela and son Don. Patricia was the last surviving member of her family of seven sisters Mary, Loretta, Kathleen, Cecilia, Genevieve, Rita and Madonna; three brothers Leo, Eugene and Walter. She worked for a number of years from her home as a hair dresser. Patricia was a very active member of Saint Joseph's Church. She was a chartered member of the CWL for over fifty years. A dedicated wife, mother, grandmother who cherished the love of her family. She was a very giving person and most happy planning and hosting family reunions. She will be lovingly remembered by her six surviving children Ann Marie (Jim) of Fredericton, Barbara (Al) of Sussex, Kathleen (Jim) of Toronto, Bernard (Ann) of Miramichi, Joe (Debbie) of Red Deer, Jeannie (Greg) of Calgary; 14 grand children, 23 great grand children; several nieces and nephews. The family wish to commend and thank the staff of the River View Manor, Bath and the Kiwanis Nursing Home, Sussex for the loving and dedicated care of their mother.
Resting at L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol, NB with visiting on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 from 2 to 8 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held from Saint Joseph's Church, Bath, NB on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at 11 am.
