The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Friday, January 10, 2014, of Maurice Bigelow, of Summerside, aged 51 years.
Born in Summerside, he was the son of the late Harold and Verna (Bernard) Bigelow. Survived by his long-time companion and best friend Leslie Robertson; children, Billy, Vancouver, B.C.; Rachel, Charlottetown; brothers, Bayfield (Roma), Charlottetown; Norman (Bonnie), Ingersoll, ON; Ronnie (Sherry), South West Lot 16; Ensor, Norval, ON; and by numerous nieces and nephews.
Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, where funeral service will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. Interment in People’s Cemetery, Malpeque. No visiting hours by personal request.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Maurice Bigelow Children’s Trust Fund would be appreciated.
