Peacefully at Beach Grove Home on Saturday, January 11, 2014 of James Judson MacEachern of Charlottetown, age 85 years.
Loving husband of Bonnie (Dingwell) and father of 11 children - the late Janice (Percy Simmonds), Carilyn (Dan MacIsaac), Marilyn (Cary Veach), Leslie (Valerie MacLeod), Gael (Sean Ferris), Elspeth, Frank (Jennifer), Ian (Betty Czuk), Allan (Janice MacCallum), Bonnie (Derek Burns) and David (Triona Harrop). Grandfather and great-grandfather to Jamie MacIsaac, Menna MacIsaac (Jamie Dickie) their children Jack, Ruth and Mauve Dickie; Kali Simmonds (Pat Morris) and their children Seth, Nigel, Fin, Kip, Eve and Wren Morris, Eli Simmonds (Arooj Cheema) and their children Lily Balderson, Zinnia, Zephyr Simmonds, Nara Simmonds (Josh Weale) and their son Kai Weale, Janson Simmonds; Mistaya and Jasper Veach; Keslie MacEachern (Patrick O'Connell) and their child Olive O'Connell, Katya, Larissa and Alexandra MacEachern; Megan and Tate Ferris; Chloe MacEachern; Annie, Emma, Isaac and Tilly MacEachern; Hanna, Sophie, Sebastian and Simon Burns; Connor, Declan and Seamus MacEachern. Sister Adele MacPhail of Halifax and her daughter Lorna and aunt Marion MacKenzie (Don).
Predeceased by his parents, Peter and Mildred (Ferguson) MacEachern, and by his eldest daughter, Janice Lee Simmonds.
Resting at MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel. Funeral Wednesday from Trinity United Church at 10 a.m. Interment later in Sherwood Cemetery. If so desired, memorials to CNIB or Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. Visiting hours Tuesday from 4-7 p.m.
