Mabel Georgina Walsh, 67, of New Glasgow, passed away on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.
Born in Five Islands, she was a daughter of the late Lisby and Elizabeth (Stewart) Corbett.
She is survived by her husband Ernie; daughter Charlene (Eddie McPhee), New Glasgow; sons, Jerry (Annie), Cap Pele, NB; Delbert, Pictou; grandchildren: Caitlyn, Brandy and George; brothers: Ernest (Doreen), Wallace (Jaunita), Layton (Phyllis), Joe (Lillian), Doug (Cathy); sisters: Hattie Stapleton, Muriel Bezanson (Jordie), Isabel Morrison (Arnold); and nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by daughter-in-law Josephine; brothers: Stanley Corbett, Eli Corbett and Harold Johnson; sisters, Dolly Corbett and Alma Marshall.
Cremation has taken place. Family will receive visitors on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville. Graveside service will be held at St. Bees Cemetery at a later date.
