FOUGÈRE, FLORINE - Florine Fougère, 90, of the Villa Providence, Shediac formerly of Bas-Cap-Pelé, passed away on Thursday, January 16th, 2014 at her residence. Born on September 13th, 1923 in Cap-Pelé, she was the daughter of the late Olivier and Julienne (LeBlanc) Cormier. Prior to her retirement, she was employed with Cormier et LeBlanc Ltd. She is survived by her two children: Gisèle Fougère-Fraser and Normand (Carole) all of Bas-Cap-Pelé; three granddaughters: Janelle, Danie and Jessica; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Laurie Fougère (2001); three sisters: Rita, Léontine and Marie; four brothers: Bélonie, Gérard, Ovila and Yvon.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral Centre, 2642 chemin Acadie, Cap-Pelé (577-3297) on Friday, January 17th, 2014 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, January 18th from 9:30 a.m. until time of departure. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Ste-Thérèse d’Avila R.C. Church in Cap-Pelé on Saturday, January 18th, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. In memory of Florine, a contribution to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New-Brunswick, Ste-Thérèse d’Avila cemetery or to the South-East Ability Center, Cap-Pelé would be appreciated.
