Violet M. Woodrow passed away peacefully at Rotary Manor on December 9, 2013 at the age of 93 years. She was born September 5, 1920 in Skinninggrove, England. Violet and family moved to Dawson Creek on April 13, 1957 from Saltburn, England. Here she met and cherished many long term friends, which she commented on how blessed she was to of known such fine people. These friends and acquaintances supported and made the adjustment to a new life in Canada much easier. Here at her new home in Canada she put her heart and soul into her skills of homemaking, waitressing, cook, nanny and mother. She’s deeply missed by family and friends.
