GALLANT, LYNN M. - 1961 - 2014 - Miramichi - Lynn Marie Gallant, wife of Eugene Gallant of Crosby Cres., Miramichi, passed away at her residence on Tuesday morning, January 21, 2014, at the age of 52, following a brief illness. Born in St. Bruno, Que., on August 6, 1961, she was the daughter of the late James F. and Shirley M. (Bauer) Gowen. She was a long term employee of MacCallum Building Supplies Ltd., Miramichi. She is survived by her husband, Eugene; one daughter, Michelle MacAdam (Jon), of Fredericton; one son, Nicholas Gallant (Tabatha), of P.E.I.; three brothers, Jamie Gowen, of B.C., David Gowen (Linda), of Halifax, N.S., Mark Gowen, of Halifax, N.S.; four grandchildren, Jordan, Xavier, Zander, Phoebe. She was predeceased by her parents and one brother, Brian Gowen.
Visitation will be at Adams Funeral Home Ltd., 140 King St. on Thursday, Jan. 23, 2014, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Following cremation a private interment will be held with the family at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations to any charity of the donors’ choice would be appreciated by the family.
