The death occurred at the Wedgewood Manor, Summerside, on Wednesday, January 22, 2014, of Wilda Kohout, of Summerside, and formerly of Bedeque, aged 97 years. Born in Bedeque, she was the daughter of the late Elliott and Mae (Newsome) Bell.
Survived by her son, George (Linda) Kohout, Rothesay, N.B.; daughter, Lynn Montgomery, Bedeque; grandchildren, Trevor (Dawn) Kohout, David Montgomery, Maureen (David) Pearce; great-grandchildren, Kassel Kohout, Merrik Kohout, Katie Pearce, Owen Pearce; and by her sister-in-law, Joyce Bell, Summerside. Predeceased by her husband, Frank Kohout; brother, Seaman Bell; and by her son-in-law, Robert "Bob" Montgomery.
Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, where funeral service will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. Interment later in People's Cemetery, Tryon. Visiting hours Friday from 5-8 p.m.
