The passing of Albert Jospeh Richard of Georgetown, age 68, devoted husband of Brenda Richard (nee King), occurred on Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at the Kings County Memorial Hospital with his family by his side.
Born in Petit Cap, N.B., April 26, 1945, he was the son of the late Dosithe and Rita (LeBlanc) Richard.
Besides his wife, Brenda, Albert is survived by his loving children, Shirley (Craig) Batchilder, Pauline (Chris) Clory and David (Keshia) Richard; brothers and sisters, Anna Fagen, Donald (Becky) Richard, Reginald (Doreen) Richard, Annette (Aris) Jacob, Danny (Cathy) Richard, Mona (Mitchell) Cameron, Pauline Richard, Brian (Josie) Richard, cherished grandchildren, Cayla, Tiffany, Sierrah, Justin and Austin; aunts, uncles and numerous nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents; brothers, Roger and Ovila; one niece, Bonnie.
Resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home with visiting hours on Friday, January 24, 2014 from 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, January 25, 2014 at 11 a.m. from St. James Catholic Church, Georgetown. Interment to take place in the parish cemetery.
