Passed peacefully away on January 24, 2014, age 77 years, of Seal Cove, CBS. Predeceased by husband Jim, June 13, 2011, parents Thomas and Susan, brothers Chesley and Abe. Left with fond and loving memories her 3 daughters Betty (George), Beverly (Paul) and Brenda (Jim), 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, brother Fred Batten (Ella), sister Ada Porter (Edward). Also a large circle of family and friends. Visitation in the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Saturday from 7 - 9 pm, Sunday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 pm. Funeral service to take place on Monday, January 27, 2014 at 2 pm from St. Peter's Anglican Church, Upper Gullies. Interment in the Anglican Cemetery, Upper Gullies.
