Rudderham, Gwendolyn Doris "Gwen" – age 77 years of Aylesford, passed away peacefully on January 30, 2014 at the Valley Regional Hospital. Born in Aylesford on June 16, 1936; she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Grace (Dorey) Gates. She was a member of St. Michael’s United Church in Shearwater, and had been a Girl Guide leader and commissioner at Shearwater. Gwen was a proud volunteer at the DND school. Gwen was a loving mother, grandmother and friend. She will be dearly missed by her daughters Jenina and Tammy Rudderham and God daughter Amanda Lunn all of Aylesford; grandchildren Ethan Rudderham, Lily and Keegan Lunn; also by cousin Diane Leroux. Predeceased by her husband Freeman in 2002. Visitation was held on Monday, February 3rd, 2014, 12-2pm from the Serenity Lindsay Funeral Home, Berwick Chapel from where the funeral service followed at 2pm with Rev. Dr. Judy Saunders officiating. Interment took place at the Berwick Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made directly to the Valley Regional Hospital Foundation.
