VANINGAN, WILLIAM JENNINGS: Bill passed away peacefully at the Red Deer Regional Hospital on January 17, 2014 at the age of 79. He will be missed by his loving wife of 44 years Iris; his daughters, Debbie (Howie) Hedges, Louise (Dino) Cicci and Sandra (Garnett) Mantie; grandchildren, Greg Shoemaker, Nicholas Cicci, Samuel Cicci, Michelle Cicci and Emma Mantie; as well as his niece, Debra Bourne; nephew, Darrell Bourne; and sisters, Pearl (Warren) McCloud and Betty (Chuck) Bourne. Bill was predeceased by his parents, Owen and Verda Vaningan; his nephew, Monty Bourne; and grandson, Grant Shoemaker. A Funeral Service was held on Thursday, January 23, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Red Deer Funeral Home, 6150-67 Street, Red Deer interment followed at Alto Reste Cemetery. Memorial donations in Bill’s honor may be made directly to the Salvation Army, 4837 - 54 Street, Red Deer, AB T4N 2G5.
