Passed peacefully away at his residence in St. John’s, after a short battle with cancer, Peter Eugene Kennedy, formerly of Bell Island. Predeceased by his parents Genevieve (Dwyer) and Rudolph Kennedy. Left to mourn are his 4 sisters: Elizabeth (Richard) Purdy, Ontario; Helen (Bruce) French, St. John’s; Alice (Kenneth) Kavanagh, Bell Island; Leonie (James) Mills, New Brunswick; 2 brothers : Rudy (Debbie), Alberta; Sid (Ros), Ontario; 2 step-brothers: Bill (Nellie), Ontario; Nick (Norma), Alberta; 20 nieces and nephews; also his loyal friend Michael (Melva) Fleming, St. John’s. Cremation has taken place with a memorial service to follow on Bell Island in July.
