It is with great sadness that the family of the late PRISCEILLA STEWART of Rushoon announces her passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin, on Monday, February 3rd, 2014, at the age of 84. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are: Sons – Gerard (Lucy) of Marystown, Cyril (Bernadette) of Placentia; Daughters – Margaret Hackett (Bill) of St. Bernard’s, Jessie Cheeseman (Joe) of Toronto and Carmel Kerrivan (Paul) of Marystown; Sister – Myra Pardy (Richard); Brothers – Jack Hynes (Dottie) and Stephen Hynes (Mildred); 13 Grandchildren; 10 Great-Grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and a large circle of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her Husband – John; Parents – Steven & Geraldine Hynes; Brothers – Joseph, Chesley & Kevin; Sisters – Sarah, Gladys, Dorothy and Jessie.

The Mass of Christian Burial took place at Christ the King Roman Catholic Church in Rushoon, on Friday, February 7, at 11:00 a.m. Interment followed at Christ the King Roman Catholic Cemetery in Rushoon. In Prisceilla’s memory donations may be made to The Canadian Cancer Society or flowers gratefully accepted.
