The death occurred at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown, on Thursday, February 6, 2014, of Dr. Joyce Etheny Bongile Madigane M.D., M.R.C.O.G., of Bideford, aged 72 years. Born in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, she was the daughter of the late Dennis S. Nkiwane and Ivy Gama. Survived by her son Jongile Majola; and numerous extended family of the Madigane and Gama families. Predeceased by her husband Seaton Sidney Matimba-Majola and by her daughter Nontuthuzelo Yvonne Matimba-Majola. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside. Completed funeral arrangements to be announced later. Interment in the Bideford United Church Cemetery, Bideford. Memorial donations to the Stewart Memorial Healthcare Auxiliary, Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
