1943-2014
At the Western Hospital, Alberton, on Thursday, February 13, 2014, following a courageous battle with cancer, of Joseph Donald "Joe" Murphy beloved husband of Jean Marie (nee Doyle) Murphy of Dock Road, age 71 years. Born at St. Lawrence on January 8, 1943, he was the son of the late Clarence and Lima (nee Handrahan) Murphy. Loving father to John (Pam) and Kenn (Laura). Cherished grandfather to Mitchell and Craig, all of Brampton, Ont. He is survived by siblings, Earl (Jean), Richard (late Freda and late Marie), Josie (late Ulysse), Leonard (Christine), Fred (Sheila). Also survived by sisters and brothers-in-law, Flo, Sue, Earl (late Rose), Judy, Hubert (Lorraine), Roy (Sheila). He will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews friends, and neighbours. He was predeceased by his brothers, Frank and Russell. Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton. Complete funeral arrangements to be announced later.
