Born Kathleen Marilyn on January 22, 1947 in Anagance, New Brunswick to the late Frederick Kyle and to Stella Kyle. Marilyn leaves behind her mother; her companion, Barry Evans; her daughters Minda, Linda and Tamara; seven grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; sisters Carolyn Kyle, Alta Adair (Robin), Mary Bannister (Sonny Harnett), Barbara Carhart (Buck), Frances Schneider, Emma MacLeod and Helen King.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Atlantic Funeral Home, 6552 Bayers Road, Halifax, Nova Scotia.
