Peacefully at her late residence, North Carleton, on Saturday, Feb. 15, 2014, of Joyce Allyson (nee Lord) MacMicken age 72 years. Loving wife of John B. MacMicken. Dear mother of Miles B. (Sandra) MacMicken, Ont. Also survived by her sisters Margaret Downe, Charlottetown, and Anita Crossman, Florida, and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents A. Keith and Vera Lord, sister Marion (Lloyd) Ramsay, and brothers-in-law Charles Downe and Doug Crossman. Resting at the Dawson Funeral Home, Crapaud. Funeral service from the Dawson Funeral Home, Crapaud, on Thursday at 2 p.m. Due to severe allergies, NO SCENTS PLEASE for funeral service. If so desired memorial donations may be made to Humane Society or charity of choice. Interment to take place later in Free Church of Scotland Cemetery, Cape Traverse.
