Peacefully at her late residence, North Carleton, on Saturday, February 15th, 2014, of Joyce Allyson (nee Lord) MacMicken age 72 years. Loving wife of John B. MacMicken. Dear mother of Miles B. (Sandra) MacMicken, Ont. Also survived by her sisters Margaret Downe, Charlottetown, and Anita Crossman, Florida and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents A. Keith and Vera Lord, sister Marion (Lloyd) Ramsay, and brothers-in-law Charles Downe and Doug Crossman. Resting at the Dawson Funeral Home, Crapaud, with visitation on Wednesday, February 19, 6-8 p.m. No scents please due to severe allergies for visitation or funeral service. Funeral service from the Dawson Funeral Crapaud on Thursday at 2 p.m. If so desired memorial donations may be made to Humane Society or Charity of Choice. Interment to take place later in Free Church of Scotland Cemetery, Cape Traverse.
