Passed peacefully away at the Health Science Centre on February 20, 2014 at the age of 71 years. Predeceased by his parents Nathan Sr. and Geneva Bowering, by his son Robert Nathan Bowering and sister-in-law Dorothy (late John). Beloved husband of Patsy, cherished father of Michael (Cathy) and Rhonda; also leaving to mourn are his grandchildren Kaitlyn, Matthew and Eric, his sister Shirley and sisters in-law Betty (Ray), Linda (Sam), Carol (Dan), Bessie, Gloria (late Bob). Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and a large circle of friends. The family would like to thank Dr. Lockyer and the nursing staff at the 5north A, Health Science Centre. Relatives and friends may visit the family at Carnell's Funeral Home 329 Freshwater Road on Saturday, February 22 from noon till 4 and 7-9 p.m. and Sunday, February 23, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral service will take place on Monday, February 24 at 11:00 a.m. from the Carnell's Memorial Chapel.
