The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Saturday, Feb. 22, 2014, of Jean Schurman of Summerside, Halifax, N.S., and formerly of and Chelton, aged 93 years. Born in Chelton, she was the daughter of the late Heber and Sadie (Arnett) Schurman. Survived by her sister Joyce MacFarlane, Halifax, N.S.; brother Charles Schurman, Summerside; and dearly loved by numerous nieces and nephews. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, where a private family funeral service will be held. Interment later in the Searletown Cemetery, Searletown. No visiting hours by personal request. Memorial donations to the Prince County Hospital Foundation or to a Charity of your Choice would be appreciated.
