Muriel Allcock, age 87, passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2014 after a lengthy illness. Predeceased by her husband Lloyd in 2001, parents Jim and Elizabeth Wood, older sister Hilda (Doug) Cherry and twin sister Vera Wood, Muriel will be lovingly remembered by her son Terry; daughter Lori (Gordon) Knight, grandsons Braden and Matthew; niece Marilyn Cherry (Frank), nephew Mike Cherry (Deb), and numerous extended relatives in Canada and England. An obituary announcing a Celebration of Muriel’s life will appear in a later edition of the Moose Jaw Times Herald and the Leader Post in mid-April. Our sincere thanks to the staff of Providence Place for their compassionate care during these last few months, as well as to the staff of the Emergency Department and Medical Ward of Moose Jaw Union Hospital, Pioneers Lodge and Extendicare.
