DAY, TRAVIS JAMES VERNARD - It is with deep sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved son, Travis James Vernard Day, age 21, on Sunday, February 23, 2014. Born in Halifax, NS, Travis was the son of Vern and Robyn (McCullough) Day. Travis was the Owner / Operator of Dent Worx. He loved his vehicles, mountain biking, dirt biking, snowmobiling, travelling the world and spending time with his friends and family. In addition to his parents, Vern and Robyn, Travis will be sadly missed by his sisters and brothers, Cassandra Day, Amanda and Brandon Walker, Brittney Thibodeau, Josh, Natalie and Nathan Day; grandparents, Barbara Morgan and Walter and Roberta Day; great-grandparents, Gordon and Louise Morgan and Bernard Chambers; aunts and uncles, Anthony Hancock (Evelyn), Julie Beal (Billy), Walter Day (Tammy), Robynne Day (Duncan); as well as several extended family members. Travis was predeceased by his grandfather, James Hancock.
Visitation at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Thursday from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. A Celebration of Life Service for Travis will be held at Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, February 28, 2014 at 11:00 am, with Christopher Faulkner officiating. Reception in the Funeral Home Reception Centre following the service.
