The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Wednesday, February 26, 2014, of Robert "Bob" Stringer, of North Granville, age 81.
Bob was the beloved husband of Hermine (nee Richard). He was the loving father of David (Judy Palmer), Ann Pinnell (Donald), Stephen, James and Linda; grandfather of Sherry Allan and Connie Rosenblatt (Frank McGillicuddy); Jeffrey Pinnell and Susan Lewis (Justine); and the great-grandfather of Kyra, Jordyn and Nicholas; Erica, Leah, Natalie and Kevin; and Vaughn and Ryan. Bob is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Horace and Edith (Stephens) Stringer; sister, Velma Stone; brother, Gordon; and parents-in-law, Alphee and Edna (Gallant) Richard.
Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Anne's Roman Catholic Church, Hope River, on Monday, March 3, 2014, at 11:00 a.m., with visitation from 10:15 until the time of the funeral. Due to severe allergies, please refrain from wearing scented products.
