The death occurred peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth II Hospital, Halifax, N.S., on Friday, October 31, 2008, of “Douglas” Wayne John Kinsman of Oyster Bed Bridge, P.E.I., and formerly of Dartmouth, N.S., age 51 years. Douglas was born in London, Ontario, on September 11, 1957, to his late parents, Douglas and Shirley Mae (nee Boudreau) Kinsman. Beloved father of Samantha Masters (Mark Weir) of Cornwall, P.E.I., Anita Masters of New Glasgow and Alishia Kinsman of Cornwall. Also lovingly remembered by his granddaughter, Shelbie Weir-Masters. Survived by his sister, Myrna, and his brother, Butch of Nova Scotia. Besides his parents, Douglas was predeceased by his sister, Donna. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside, until Saturday, November 15, for funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 3 p.m. Following cremation, interment will take place at a later date.
