Oickle, Pauline Bernice – 86 of Berwick, passed away at the Valley Regional Hospital on Wednesday February 26, 2014. She was a daughter of the late Paul and Naomi Strong. Pauline was a member of Berwick United Church, Berwick Seniors and Women’s Institute, but her proudest interest was in her grandchildren, Nathan, Emily and Devin. Pauline is survived by sons, Clifton (Alice), Black Rock, Bernard (Joyce), Kentville; sisters, Faye (Bruce Chase), Phyllis (Eugene) Lutes; brother, Earl Strong. Pauline was predeceased by her husband, Glen; brother, Vincent. A memorial service was held at 2pm Sunday March 2nd at Serenity Lindsay Funeral Home, Berwick Chapel, 192 Commercial St., (902-538-9900). A private family Interment will be held at 1:15 p.m. in Pleasant Valley Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory may be made to a charity of choice.
