James Wallace

WALLACE, JAMES - James Wallace of Tobique Narrows passed away at Hotel Dieu St. Joseph Hospital on February 28, 2014. Born in Tobique Narrows on June 4, 1928, he was the son of the late Richard and Beulah (Hudson) Wallace. Jim leaves behind his wife Margaret Wallace (Zwicker); his daughters Andrea Green (David) of Tobique Narrows, Nancy McNally (Tim) of Tobique Narrows, Julie Cook (Alastair) of Whitehorse, Yukon, Heather Wallace of China; sons Anthony Wallace (Hugues Beaulieu) of Fredericton, Richard Wallace of Red Deer, AB; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; his sister Nola Myers of Fort Fairfield, ME. Jim was predeceased by his sisters Mary Jane Savoy, Freda Young, Dorothy DeMerchant, Verna Baker, Glenna MacIntosh; his brothers Johnny Wallace and George Wallace. Jim worked for NB Power prior to his retirement. He graduated from the NB Forestry School in 1953 and worked at the Tobique Narrows dam. Jim enjoyed curling, wood carving, and spending time with his family.
Resting at the Trinity Anglican Church with visitation on Tuesday 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at 2 pm from the church. Rev. Robert Leblanc officiating. Interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery. For those who wish, memorial donations to the Trinity Anglican Church or to the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover.
