The death occurred at the Wedgewood Manor, Summerside, on Sunday, March 2, 2014 of Cecil Deighan, of Summerside, aged 84 years. Born in Richmond, he was the son of the late Frank and Nina (Cameron) Deighan. Survived by sisters-in-law Janet Deighan, Summerside; Ellamae Deighan, Summerside; Betty Deighan, Oshawa, ON; and by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters Marion LaPointe, Margaret Neer, Doris Gorgano and Isabel, in infancy; and by brothers Leonard, Wallace, Urban, Arnold, and Erwin. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Thursday, then to St. Paul’s Church, Summerside, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment later in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Summerside.
