Elizabeth Anne Jermyn (nee MacLeod) Elizabeth Anne Jermyn (nee MacLeod)

Passed away peacefully at the Ottawa Hospital Civic Campus on March 2, 2014. Born on October 29, 1920 in Beach Point, on her beloved Prince Edward Island.
Predeceased by her parents, Allan and Salome MacLeod; her loving husband, Clarence; her siblings, Frank, Emerson and Dorothy White; and other relatives.
Cherished mother of Douglas and Wendy (Iain) and proud grandmother of Neil. She will be dearly missed by her sister, Olive Bell, many nephews, nieces and their families.
Elizabeth was a strong, hardworking dynamo of a woman, and a Christian who is now in Heaven with her loved ones who have gone on before her. She was fond of her home and garden, the birds and animals that visited, crosswords, baking and knitting, old movies and music and Maritime seafood.
A special thank you to everyone at the Civic who cared for her. She was very appreciative and grateful for all that was done for her.
At the family’s request, there will be no visitation. A brief service will be held at the Kelly Funeral Home - Walkley Chapel, 1255 Walkley Road, Ottawa, ON, K1V 6P9, 613-731-1255, Friday, March 7, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. Interment Capital Memorial Gardens.
In memoriam donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation appreciated.
