It is with broken hearts we announce the passing of Linda Lush Carter, beloved Daughter Sister, Mother, Wife, Aunt, Niece and Friend, on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 in Nanaimo, BC, after a courageous battle with Cancer.
Linda did many things in her life, touching many people. She was the first graduate from Holy Angels High School accepted into the Coast Guard College. She was a self taught Seamstress, took Massage Therapy, Horticulture and loved sports, especially water skiing and Volleyball in her younger years. She loved to go to the shooting range, where she didn’t miss many targets. When most women loved to receive jewelry and such as gifts, Linda wanted power tools, so she could make renovations to her home.

Left to mourn and forever love her are her parents, Jack and Joan (Penney) Lush, Sydney; husband David Carter, BC; son Jesse (Emily Kitching) Bennett, BC; sisters Judy (Bo) MacNeil, Emily (Dave) Kukurudziak, ON; nephews Paul (Tiffany Peters) MacNeil, Sydney., Bryson (Emily) MacNeil, ON; niece Sabina Kukurudziak, ON; grand nephew Lachlan MacNeil, ON, and many cousins, aunts and uncles. Also by her beloved Cats.
Before being cremated, Linda was an organ donor, and donated her eyes. Now someone will see the world as she did.
