William Joseph (Buck) Slaney of St. Lawrence, NL, passed peacefully on Friday, March 7th, 2014, with his wife Ann Marie of 32 years by his side as always. Buck is pre-deceased by his parents Donald and Nellie Slaney, as well as his in-laws, Maurice and Kay Carty of Smiths Falls, ON. Buck is survived by his siblings Alex (Lucy), Vic (Theresa), Terry (Tracy), Jose (Pad), Carm, Ray (Brenda), Donny (Denise), Darlene (Perry) and Todd (Evelyn). Survived also by his brothers-in-law James Carty of Smiths Falls, ON and Stephen Carty of Toronto, ON. Also loved and fondly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews and a wide circle of friends.

The Mass of Christian Burial took place on Monday, March 10th, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. Interment followed at Mount Cecilia Roman Catholic Cemetery in St. Lawrence. In Buck’s memory flowers gratefully accepted.
