Charlesena Mary Dale – 93 of Glen Haven Manor, New Glasgow formerly of Stellarton passed away March 15, 2014 in the Manor. Born in Stellarton she was a daughter of the late Murdock and Catherine (Priest) MacKenzie.
Before moving to Glen Haven Manor she was a resident of Stellarton all of her life. She was a member of the LOBA Lodge for over 70 years. Charlesena enjoyed cooking, sewing, embroidery and crossword puzzles.
She is survived by a sister-in-law Doris Price, Stellarton and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Andrew, brothers John and David, sister Kathleen.
Visitation will be from 1-3 pm Wednesday in the H.C. MacQuarrie Funeral Chapel, Stellarton from where funeral service will be held at 3 pm with Rev. Charles McPherson officiating. Burial will be in Brookside Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to the Pictou County Food Bank or a charity of your choice.
