McKINNEY, JAMES HAROLD - Following a brief illness at the Reachview Nursing Home in Uxbridge, ON, on March 9, 2014. Harold was born July 6, 1921 in Saint John, NB. He was the son of the late James and Jennie (Dale) McKinney. He is survived by his wife Dorothy; three sons, James (Linda), William (Lillian), and Bruce (Vicki); five grandchildren and two great-grand- children; one brother Douglas (Ruth), Queenstown, NB; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brother Kenneth and his wife Edrey and their daughter Lynn. Harold served in the Canadian Army in the Second World War. Following the war, he worked for the City of Toronto as grounds keeper in the city parks. He retired to Warkworth, ON where he enjoyed caring for his vegetable and flower gardens.
