
Donald Ian Gaynor
GAYNOR, DONALD IAN - D. Ian Gaynor of McAdam, NB passed away March 18, 2014 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Ian was born at Fredericton, NB in 1924, a son of the late Robert Davis and Hilda Louise (Finley) Gaynor. He was a veteran of the Second World War and was employed for several years as a Collector of Customs. Ian was a member of the Masonic Lodge, the Shrine and McAdam Branch 7, Royal Canadian Legion. He is survived by his children, Deborah Scott (Earl), McAdam, NB and Rand Gaynor (Mike), Halifax, NS; a daughter-in-law, Shelley Gaynor, Harvey, NB; his grandchildren, Brigitte Gardner (Liviu), McAdam, NB, Lindsay Jackson (Dan), St. Stephen, NB, Sara Gaynor-Scott (Scott), Bradley Scott (Erica), Blake Scott (Dawn), all of McAdam, NB and Brandon Gaynor (Kaelie), Harvey, NB; his great-grandchildren, Jordyn, Mackenzie, Brody, Jake, William, Drake and Logan; a sister, Doreen Roy-Gaynor, Ontario and a brother, Phillip Gaynor, Saint John, NB as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Ian was predeceased by his wife, A. Eileen (Burrell) Gaynor, a son Donald Gaynor and two brothers, Bobby and Stewart.
Visiting hours will be held at Swan Funeral Chapel, 1826 Route 3, Harvey Station, NB on Sunday, March 23, 2014 beginning at 1 p.m. At 3 p.m. a funeral service will be held with Rev.
