It is with great sadness that we the family of Beatrice Levinia Hussey announce her peaceful passing in the early morning hours of Saturday, March 22, 2014, at the age of 86. Predeceased by her husband Tom, son Jim, grandson Tommy Harris, parents Margret and John Clarke of Victoria, sister Elizabeth Clarke Thompson, brothers Charles, Harold, Earle, infant brothers Wesley and Albert. A beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, she leaves to mourn her children: Donna (David Melvin), David (Barb), Greg (Francene), and John (Ros); fourteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law Doreen Hussey; sister Evelyn Penney of Carbonear, as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. A special thank you to the staff of Hoyles-Escasoni Complex for your professional care over the past few years and for making Mom's final hours comfortable. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. and from 7-9 p.m. on Monday and on Tuesday. Funeral Service to take place at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 from Barrett's Mount Pearl Chapel. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road.
