The death occurred suddenly in Queenstown, New Zealand, on Wednesday, March 19, 2014, of Dr. David T McKenna, OD, of Stratford, age 57 years.
Beloved husband and best friend of Ann (Butler) McKenna. Devoted father to Monica, Fort McMurray, AB, Emily, Queenstown, NZ, and Bridget at home. Survived by loving parents, Margaret and Terence McKenna, 48 Road. Dearly-loved brother of Allana Boyd (Colin), Antigonish, N.S.; Ken, Stellarton, N.S.; Lorne (Margaret), Brudenell; Vincent (Rosemary), Stratford; Leo (Dolores), Peter (Kelly) and Bernadette, all of 48 Road; Maria, Stratford; and Paul (Sylvie), Riverview, N.B. Dear brother-in-law of Tom Butler (Janie), Charlottetown; Frank Butler (Rosemary), Pleasant Grove; Mike Butler (Marie), Cornwall; and Pat Power (Clarence), Mermaid. Cherished uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home until Monday at 9:30 a.m. then to Our Lady of Assumption Church for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment later in the church cemetery. Visiting hours on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
