Mr. Basil Knee of Cupids passed away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Tuesday, April 1, 2014. Mr. Knee was 77 years old. He leaves to mourn his loving family: Best friend & wife of 51 years: Shirley; son: Jeff Knee; brother: Frank (Ruth) Knee; sister: Mary Helen Knee; sisters-in-law: Vickie (Albert) Styles & Karen (Robert) Evans; nieces: Kathy, Elizabeth, Amanda & Amy; nephews: Craig, Scot, Ron & Bill; Great Grandnephews: Curtis & Noah; faithful friends: Alex & Dulcie, Lena & Derrick, Irene, Ena & Zaki, Marina, John, Cyril & Rita All his friends at the Bay Roberts 50 + Club and Royal Canadian Legion Branch 32. Predeceased by parents: Stewart & Annie; brothers: Aubrey & Ken; parents-in-law: Edward & Susan Andrews. The funeral service will take place at St. John The Evangelist Church, Coley's Point on Friday, April 4, 2014, 2 P.M. Inurnment will take place at a later date.
