GARLAND, CHRISTOPHER - It is with great sadness the family of Christopher John Garland, announce his passing on April 4, 2014. Born in Moncton on June 17, 1976, he was a son of Ronald and Pauline (nee Vacheresse) Garland of Ferndale. Christopher had a love for keeping track of sports statistics and was a big fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs. He enjoyed playing video games and watching wrestling. He had a love for all animals, but most of all he loved spending time with his niece and nephew. Besides his parents, Christopher is survived by his brother, Joey (Kristy) Garland of Moncton; his niece Vera; his nephew Liam; uncles: Edward, Gerald, Richard, Austin, Robert and Ralph Garland; aunts: Elsie Steeves, Anna Linkletter, Eileen Garland, Aleta Sabean and Kathy Smith; as well as several extended family members. Christopher was predeceased by his uncles Curtis, David and James Garland and Clyde Vacheresse.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the professional care of Armstrong’s Funeral Home, 33 Russell Street, Petitcodiac, (506)756-3361. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 from 1-3pm with a funeral service to follow at 3:00pm at the Petitcodiac Baptist Church in Petitcodiac.
