On Sunday, April 6, we lost our devoted and much loved mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Mom passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family just as she wanted. She is predeceased by her husband David (2009) and her parents David and Martha Bruce. Grieving her loss and left with many happy memories her children, Anne, Martha, Donna (Cyril), David, Patrick (Goldie), Mary Theresa, Judy (Larry), Cathy (Phonse), Jacintha, Clara (Daryl), Yvonne (Jeff), Helen, and honourary daughter Laurie; her grandchildren Suzanne and Kate; Lesley, David and Allison; Joseph and Patrick; Erin and Christopher; April; Blair and Dale; Scott and Joshua, and honourary grandchildren Cheryl and Anthony; great-grandchildren Saidey and Jake; Abbi and Molly Anne; Gabriel; Cheyenne; Laylie; sister-in-law and lifelong friend Mary Norman; special nieces Martha Murray and Patti Tucker, special friend Patt Pike. Mom is also predeceased by her sisters Mary and Laura and brothers Peter, Vincent, William, Cyril and Michael. Resting at Maher's Funeral Home in Placentia Tuesday 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm and Wednesday 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Flowers much appreciated. Mass at St. Theresa's Church in Ship Harbour on Thursday, April 10 at 11:00 am.
