At age 60, Charles died at home after being diagnosed with cancer two months earlier.
Born in Grande Prairie, Alberta, he was part of the Cree First Nation. In 1990, he came to Sechelt from Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside.
Charles was a very positive person, knowing from experience that things could always be worse. He was a kind man, giving of whatever he had. His many motorcycles and cars brought him much enjoyment.
Charles leaves behind his partner Cheryl Peters, sisters Linda and Gina and brother George.
